Mitre 10 Cashback Promotion 2022 Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to claim the prepaid eftpos card cashback form part of these terms & conditions on offer. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms & conditions.
  1. The Promoter is Glen Dimplex New Zealand Ltd, 38 Harris Road, East Tamaki, Auckland, NZ (NZBN 9429000069823).
  1. The offer is only open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years and over. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies (including but not limited to Masport Dealers/Re-sellers) associated with this promotion are ineligible.
  1. Eligible products for purchase that are included in this prepaid eftpos card cashback are as follows:

  1. The customer purchase price excludes installation costs, delivery fees, extended warranty, spare parts and any other costs/fees imposed by the retailer or any other person.
  1. To be eligible for this offer, purchase must be made in full between the 5th and 22nd of May 2022 (inclusive) from any Mitre 10 store. Any proof of purchase/tax invoice provided outside of these dates will not be accepted.
    • LAY-BY/DEPOSIT-CLAUSE: Please note that only lay-bys that have been initiated within the purchase period and paid in full by the promotion end date 22nd of May 2022(inclusive) are eligible for the prepaid eftpos card cashback.
  1. In order to make a valid claim, you must complete the online redemption form available at www.masportheating.co.nz/promotions  and submit a copy of proof of purchase/tax invoice showing full payment and details of products purchased. Failure to complete this form in full (including the product serial numbers) or to provide an original proof of purchase will lead to a rejection of the claim.
  1. All redemption claims must be submitted online no later than the 22nd of June. The Promoter will not accept any claims after this date, as they are considered ineligible. If a customer has an issue with submitting their claim in full, (eg delayed delivery) they must contact the promoter by emailing marketing-au@glendimplex.com.au before the submission end date, 22nd of June 2022.
  1. The prepaid eftpos card will be issued within 60 working days of the fully completed redemption claim being received and validated.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims (including contacting the place of purchase) and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these terms & conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at this stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights. The claimant agrees that if they have obtained a prepaid eftpos card, they will pay back the Promoter the value of the card if they subsequently return the product to the place of purchase and seek a refund under any returns policy that the relevant retailer may have.
  1. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for illegible, late or misdirected redemption claims.
  1. Claimants must retain a copy of their proof or purchase/tax invoice for their claim. Failure to produce the proof of purchase/tax invoice for the claim when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of the claimants claim and the forfeit of the any right to the Prepaid eftpos card. The proof of purchase/tax invoice must clearly specify the store of purchase, tax invoice number, purchase date, items purchased, prices paid and the claimant’s details (full name and address, telephone number).
  1. It is the responsibility of the claimant to provide the correct mailing address in order to receive their Prepaid eftpos card.
  1. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost, damaged, stolen or misdirected mail.
  1. This offer is not transferable, assignable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  1. This offer is for retail customers only and there is no Prepaid eftpos card available for government, national accounts, contracts or not for profit organisations (unless the not for profit organisation is buying at retail pricing).
  1. This offer is only available for retail sales from Mitre 10 New Zealand.
  1. The Promoter’s collection, use and disclosure of personal information is subject to the Masport Heating’s Privacy Policy (available at https://www.masportheating.co.nz/en-nz/privacy-policy) and is incorporated into this agreement.

 

Eftpos Card Terms and conditions

Definitions

  • Card means Gift Card issued by THE CARD NETWORK
  • Card Number means the number that appears on the back of your Card
  • PIN means the 4-digit Access PIN printed on the back of your Card.

This Card is issued by Vii Pty Ltd ABN 83 619 963 263(‘we/us/our’). In these conditions ‘you’ are the Card purchaser or user. Vii Pty Limited (“Vii”) is the issuer of the Card and authorises The Card Network (“TCN”) Pty Ltd ABN 87 626 501 568 to distribute the Card.

  1. Using the Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You must give these conditions to the user of the Card if that is not you. The Card remains our property.

  2. This Card is an eftpos prepaid gift card that can be used for electronic transactions, to purchase goods and services with “EFTPOS” facilities who accept prepaid gift cards in New Zealand. This card cannot be redeemed online.

  3. This card is valid from the date of issue. The relevant expiry period is printed on the back of your card and you can also check the remaining period of use and the card balance at www.eftpos.gift/nz. It is your responsibility to be aware of the expiry date.

  4. We are not liable for the goods or services you purchase with our Card. Any purchase made constitutes a transaction between you as the holder of the Card and the relevant merchant. You acknowledge and agree that we are not a party to that transaction and is not in any way responsible or liable in relation to that transaction. Any dispute about goods or services purchased with a Card must be resolved with the merchant. If you think there has been an incorrectly processed transaction on your Card please contact the merchant where the transaction took place. We are unable to reverse transactions approved or processed by any merchant.

  5. The Card cannot be used to make transactions that exceed the available balance. For such a transaction you need to pay the difference by another method if the merchant agrees.

  6. This Card is not reloadable. To check the card balance, card expiry and full conditions of use, go to www.eftpos.gift/nz. For balance enquiries, you will be required to enter both the Card Number and Access PIN on your Card prior to getting access to the card information. The Card cannot be used after expiry. At expiry, the remaining available balance will be forfeited. We will not give you any notice before this happens.

  7. The Card cannot be used to obtain or redeem cash and cannot be used for making direct debit, recurring, or regular instalment payments. Authorisations may be declined at some merchants (such as gambling merchants or merchants who choose not to accept prepaid cards). We are not liable in any way when an authorisation is declined for any particular transaction except where the authorisation has been declined because of an act or omission on our part.

  8. You acknowledge that we may allow access to the services offered on this site to anyone who enters a valid Card number and 4-digit PIN. Your PIN is simply our way of identifying you. It does not offer you any protection or security if your Card is lost, stolen or damaged. Remember to treat your Card like cash. You are solely responsible for any loss caused by use of your Card and PIN by you or any other person, including any use not approved or contemplated by you Your Card will not be replaced if misused, lost, stolen or damaged. If you notice any error or suspect any unauthorised use relating to the Card, you should notify THE CARD NETWORK by sending an email to support@thecardnetwork.com.au

  9. If you have a problem with a purchase made with the Card, or a dispute with a merchant, you must deal directly with the merchant involved. If you cannot resolve the dispute with the merchant, you can contact THE CARD NETWORK by sending an email to support@thecardnetwork.com.au

  10. Any refunds on Card transactions are subject to the policy of the specific merchant. If the Card expires or is revoked before you have spent any funds resulting from a refund (whether or not the original transaction being refunded was made using the Card) then you will have no access to those funds.

  11. We may restrict or stop the use of the Card if suspicious activities are noticed.

  12. If you wish to make a complaint about your Card you can send an email to support@thecardnetwork.com.au

  13. You are responsible for checking your transaction history online and knowing your available balance, which can be checked at www.eftpos.gift/nz. Information will be disclosed to third parties about the Card, or transactions made with the Card, whenever allowed by law, and also where necessary to operate the Card and process transactions.   14. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions can be viewed at www.eftpos.gift/nz.

  15. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of New Zealand and each party irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand
